Xmas at Neko's

I am having a fantastic Christmas. My stocking was filled with brand new tennis balls and from my New Hampshire cousins I got this green worm toy which is great for tug and shake. In a while we are all going for a walk and then I hear the humans are having meat for dinner which I am always able to score a taste of. Hope that everyone is having a great holiday. It was not a birthday gift but at our last family book club my uncle Randy brought me this fantastic pink toy and I have not had the opportunity to thank him yet (mostly because my mom is a lazy typist/blog assist). I love this toy,it is among my favorite. Thank you Randy. Love,Neko

Five Years Old

Today I turn five years old. Moms got me a new octopus because it is my favorite toy and my former octopus is "looking pretty haggard". Later tonight we are driving down to my grandpa's to celebrate his 60th birthday on Saturday and Mom tells me that we will go to the beach if it doesn't rain tomorrow. I wonder if I will get a meat cake? love,Neko

Book Club

We had family book club in Carmel this past weekend and I met a very handsome mini-me named Andy on the beach. He is the closest Welsh or Airedog to my coloring that we have encountered yet. Great to meet you Andy, I hope to see you next time we are in Carmel. Love,Neko

Breakfast in Bed

I helped Mom feed the fetus with breakfast in bed this morning. We are supposed to have a heat wave the next several days so I am resting up for that with the hope that there will be trips to the beach to cool me off.

Big Sister

Moms told me this morning that it was finally okay to let everyone know that in March I am going to be a big sister. I love human babies and we are all very excited that Mom is pregnant. As long as the kid remembers who is first born everything will be fine. I look forward to having another human in our family to worship me. Love,Neko

I was blessed with many talents but climbing is not among them. This squirrel taunts me and in MY yard from MY tree. Can you see him starring at me with his beady little eyes. Someday I will have squirrel soup for dinner. Love,Neko

Cousins

First and foremost I have to apologize for my Mom sucking big time at posting lately, she is kind of self obsessed but I do love her and all is forgiven as usual. We can play catch up now on what really matters; ME. My cousins were visiting a couple of weeks ago and we had the opportunity to bond. The fools thought that they could actually beat me at tug, first independently then as a united front. Beat a terrier at tug, I schooled them. The younger of the three took the easy route and fed me peanut butter, very smart boy. The other two wised up as well and took me for a lovely walk. Love,Neko

Dalmation Bunny

Mom was driving through the city yesterday and in front of her hopping around in a Honda Civic was a Dalmation bunny rabbit. The bunny would hang out in the rear window then hop up front every few minutes so it's driver could pet it. Given that the bunny behaves like a dog and has markings like a dog I am going to give him honorary dog status. Love,Neko

Reservoir Dog

I went to Greenwood,CA this weekend for family book club and it was a blast. The dirt is so red there I thought I was swimming on Mars. My cousins the Australian Shepherds (Geneva and Jordan) and I all had a great game of fetch in the reservoir, not to mention many naps on the deck. Love,Neko
