I was blessed with many talents but climbing is not among them. This squirrel taunts me and in MY yard from MY tree. Can you see him starring at me with his beady little eyes. Someday I will have squirrel soup for dinner. Love,Neko
First and foremost I have to apologize for my Mom sucking big time at posting lately, she is kind of self obsessed but I do love her and all is forgiven as usual. We can play catch up now on what really matters; ME. My cousins were visiting a couple of weeks ago and we had the opportunity to bond. The fools thought that they could actually beat me at tug, first independently then as a united front. Beat a terrier at tug, I schooled them. The younger of the three took the easy route and fed me peanut butter, very smart boy. The other two wised up as well and took me for a lovely walk. Love,Neko
This our ritual 'tucking in' that Mom and I do every night just before bed. Riley has caught on very quickly and joined in since he's been frequently lodging with us lately. Love,Neko
Mom was driving through the city yesterday and in front of her hopping around in a Honda Civic was a Dalmation bunny rabbit. The bunny would hang out in the rear window then hop up front every few minutes so it's driver could pet it. Given that the bunny behaves like a dog and has markings like a dog I am going to give him honorary dog status. Love,Neko
As many of you know I love my buddy Riley and lucky me his Mom is out of town so he has been staying with us this past week. These photos are from the archives of my puppy hood. As you can see Riley schooled me from a young age. Thanks Riley, it has been great having you here with me this week. Love,Neko P.S. Can you believe I was ever that short I look like a Welsh Terrier?
I went to Greenwood,CA this weekend for family book club and it was a blast. The dirt is so red there I thought I was swimming on Mars. My cousins the Australian Shepherds (Geneva and Jordan) and I all had a great game of fetch in the reservoir, not to mention many naps on the deck. Love,Neko
Last week I got to visit my friend Riley. Riley and I were neighbors when I was a puppy and he helped me to learn the important things like how to go up and down the stairs and how to be home alone without the people. He and I went for a walk on Bernal Hill and there was a Riley impostor but I wasn't fooled for a second. I would know your smell anywhere Riley, I love you. Love,Neko
We went up to the Russian River last weekend and on the way home we stopped at a produce stand. A car pulled up next to us in the parking lot and in it was this cute Airedog named Crystal. It's always great to meet other supreme beings. Love,Neko
Hello everyone, As many of you know the airline industry is extremely speciest so Neko is unable to visit grammy in Florida with her Moms. Stunt double is doing a fine job keeping us company but let's face it we miss our little Neko bear very much. She is having a great week at camp tomato with Roma and we can't imagine what we would do if Roma and her Dads weren't there to take such great care of her. We miss you Neko and love you. We can't wait to see you on Sunday. Love,Moms
Mom's are off to see grammy in Sarasota,FL once again without ME. I would be really mad but I am way too excited about spending the week with Roma and her Dads at Camp Tomato. I think stunt double Neko will go with Moms to keep them from going insane without my sweet love. So stay tuned for that dog and pony show OR you can have the real thing at Roma's blog (linked over there to the right under ROMA). Love,Neko
Did I mention that my cousin Dixi and I also went to the beach and met an Airedale named Flapjack. The other side of the Frank Lloyd Wright house looks like a ship as you can see. Great weekend all the way around. Love,Neko
Last weekend we had family book club in Carmel. My Uncle Abe rode faithfully in the back seat with me on the drive. My cousin Dixi was there with her Dad who tried to dress up as me. Mom and I napped. We checked out the Frank Lloyd Wright house because our book club book was 'Loving Frank'.
